Turn wonder into discovery through hands-on experiments, deep underground testing, and scientific exploration.
Wonderground by SNOLAB is a science program that guides students from curiosity to conclusion using the scientific method, hands-on experiments, and deep underground testing.
At Wonderground, you’ll work alongside SNOLAB’s underground scientists to transform curiosity into evidence. Dream up a hypothesis, design an experiment, and follow the scientific method to uncover answers. Then put your ideas to the test deep underground, where a one-of-a-kind research environment can reveal discoveries you never expected.
Every great experiment starts with a good idea and a solid understanding of the scientific method. Our program features 6 flexible sessions centered around the scientific method. Each session is designed to be 30 minutes, and educators can deliver sessions independently or in partnership with SNOLAB’s Education Outreach team.
Every great discovery starts with a question. Whether your students are curious about the world around them or eager to put their ideas to the test, Wonderground helps turn curiosity into real scientific exploration.
Connect with our team to learn how your class can collaborate with SNOLAB’s underground scientists and take part in a one-of-a-kind journey from wonder to discovery.
